New Nextstep arrangements
In order to offer the best service to clients, support agencies sometimes need to make referrals to other organisations. This is the case, for example, where an agency is unable to offer a particular type of service or area of expertise in-house. If you wish to make referrals to Nextstep providers it is important to keep up-to-date with changing provision. The regional arrangements for IAG provision in the community have changed (August 2008) following the recontracting of Nextstep services in England. Over the coming period Nextstep providers will be piloting new service delivery arrangements in preparation for the introduction of the new Adult Advancement and Careers Service in 2010.
